Bertolt Brecht
GalleryBertolt Brecht
  • The artist tells the story of a refugee who tries to get from Africa to Europe on a makeshift airplane. Air-traffic controllers force the pilot to make an emergency landing and he is put on trial, strange and mafialike. The first part is a radio transmission of the night flight read by actors in the dark. It is a play on the realm of sound, imagination and the common experience of space unconstrained by the conventional sense of unity of place, time and action.
