During the reading of their late mother's will, siblings Jeanne and Simon Marwan receive two envelopes: one for their father who they thought was dead, and one for a brother whose existence they were not aware of. Jeanne sees this as the answer to their mother's silence shortly before she died. She instantly decides to travel to the Middle East to discover their family's unknown past. Initially, Simon does not seem to attach any importance to his mother's will, but after a while sets out to follow his sister. They soon learn the tragic story of their mother and her courage.
