Accessibility
We want everyone to have the opportunity to take part in the festival, which is why we strive to make as many events as possible accessible to the widest possible audience.
Malta Festival available
The Malta Festival program includes events:
- with audio description
- translated into Polish Sign Language (PJM) – If you plan to use Polish Sign Language (PJM) interpretation, please email Natalia Dąbrowska at: natalia.dabrowska@malta-festival.pl. Natalia will help you choose a suitable seat.
- with extended Polish subtitles
Additionally:
- we check all venues for architectural barriers and aim to remove any that we encounter
- at outdoor events (where the audience is stationary), we designate seating areas and wheelchair-accessible spaces which you are welcome to use if you are a person with a disability (including temporary or situational), a pregnant person, a senior, or if you’re simply not feeling well
- we offer OzN tickets that allow entry with an accompanying person (more information below in the Tickets section)
Details about accessibility features for each event are available on our website: https://malta-festival.pl/program. After clicking on an event, look to the left under the “Accessibility” section. You can also filter events by accessibility features in the “Program – Calendar” tab.
Complete information about the accessibility of each venue and event will be provided approximately one month before the festival. We aim to publish this information by 15 May.
We kindly ask for your understanding and support. Please stay in touch and let us know what we can improve, what you enjoyed, and what didn’t work and needs to be changed in future editions of the festival.
Your experiences and feedback are very important to us. Natalia Dąbrowska, our Accessibility Coordinator, is looking forward to hearing from you.

Tickets
OzN Tickets are available for purchase. An OzN ticket allows a person with a disability to attend an event with one accompanying person. The price of an OzN ticket is the same as a regular ticket.
OzN tickets are intended for individuals with moderate or severe disabilities, or for those using a wheelchair—regardless of the degree of disability—based on a valid certificate.
If you purchase an OzN ticket, please remember to bring your valid disability certificate along with your ticket to show at the entrance.
If you plan to use Polish Sign Language (PJM) interpretation, please email Natalia Dąbrowska at: natalia.dabrowska@malta-festival.pl. Natalia will help you choose a suitable seat.
AD Tickets are also available. These are additional, free tickets for events with audio description. AD tickets are intended for those who wish to use audio description and guarantee that headphones will be reserved. Please note: AD tickets do not grant entry to the event—they are only an add-on to a regular ticket.
How to purchase OzN tickets
To buy an OzN ticket, please email Natalia Dąbrowska at natalia.dabrowska@malta-festival.pl. She will inform you about the availability of these tickets and guide you through the purchasing process. If anything is unclear or you have additional questions, feel free to ask.
