Accessibility

The Malta Festival team makes every effort to make as many events as possible available to the widest possible audience.

Malta Festival available

The selected program points will include:

  • audio description
  • Polish sign language
  • Polish subtitles

More:

  • We are working on a childcare program for some festival events.
  • We check the location for architectural barriers and try to remove them.
  • At outdoor events where the audience is static, there will be designated sectors from which people with disabilities (including temporary or situational disabilities) will be able to comfortably watch the performances.
  • It is possible to purchase an OzN ticket (more below).

Information about selected accessibility solutions will be systematically supplemented and placed on the subpages of individual events. We have also prepared dedicated filters for them in the calendar tab.

We will provide complete information on the availability of individual places and events about a month before the festival. We will try to make this happen before August 15.

Malta Festival is undergoing change. This is the first edition in a new version. We are very keen to create an event accessible to the widest possible audience. We are aware that in 2024 we may not be able to achieve all accessibility goals. We promise to systematically work on the accessibility of the Malta Festival and its subsequent editions.

We ask for your understanding and support. Stay in touch with us and let us know what can be done better, what you liked. And also what doesn’t work and what needs to be improved during the subsequent editions of the festival.

Your experiences and advice are very important to us. Availability Coordinator, Natalia Dąbrowska, is waiting for them . Please contact us by e-mail at: natalia.dabrowska@malta-festival.pl.
