What does summer in Poznań sound like? During Malta Festival, we invite you to four days of concerts bringing together different musical worlds – from the hypnotic electronics of The Blaze, through the intimate songwriting of Charlie Cunningham, to the energy of the new Polish alternative represented by the duo Kacperczyk. All events will take place 25–28 June at the Poznań International Fair.

The electronic side of this year’s music programme will be opened by the French duo The Blaze (dj set) – Guillaume and Jonathan Alric. The artists gained international recognition thanks to their award-winning videos for Virile and Territory, which attracted millions of viewers worldwide. Their work has always developed in close connection with image – The Blaze direct their own music videos, treating them as an integral part of their music. The duo’s signature sound is built around hypnotic synthesizers, deep vocals, and slowly building tension.

The following day, before Beirut takes the stage, Charlie Cunningham will perform – a British singer-songwriter and guitarist performing in Poland for the first time. His music combines delicate nylon-string guitar and piano with a melancholic yet rhythmically driven form of songwriting. Cunningham’s songs have amassed over half a billion streams, and he regularly performs in some of Europe’s most prestigious concert halls.

The line-up will also feature the duo Kacperczyk, who will perform ahead of the concert by Two Door Cinema Club. It will be the only Polish act in the international line-up of the festival’s four concert days. Brothers Maciek and Paweł Kacperczyk are among the most distinctive voices of Poland’s younger alternative scene. Since their debut album Sztuki piękne in 2020, they have been developing a style that blends indie sensibility with pop energy and a characteristic generational tone in their lyrics. Their subsequent releases have achieved gold and platinum status, and in 2025 the duo released their fourth album WSZYSCY JESTEŚMY KACPERCZYK, promoted with the biggest arena tour of their career.
