What happens when a dinner becomes something more than just a dinner? On June 22, during Malta Festival, we invite you to Good Table – an open-air event in the heart of Poznań that brings together food, music and social action in one shared experience.

Imagine a long table. Nearly 300 people – artists, festival guests and audiences – sitting together in one space. There is no clear line between stage and audience. What remains is a meeting, a conversation, a moment of being together.

This won’t be a traditional dinner. Good Table is designed as a four-part experience inspired by the seasons. Spring, summer, autumn and winter unfold through flavours, aromas, presentation and live music – including excerpts from The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi. Each course becomes a distinct moment, building a larger whole.

The menu is created by Poznań-based chefs Dawid Łagowski, Tomasz Zdrenka and Mariusz Górecki, who work with local ingredients and reinterpret the culinary traditions of the Wielkopolska region. One of the courses will be developed in collaboration with the event partner Kuchnia Vikinga, under the direction of chef Ewelina Łapińska, and will draw on the flavours of Podlasie. 

Good Table also has a clear social dimension. Half of the ticket revenue will support the Yellow Plate programme run by Kulczyk Foundation, which provides children in Poland with access to nutritious meals and food education. The evening will be hosted by Dominika Kulczyk.

This is a dinner that operates on several levels at once. Taste, sound and image come together to form a single narrative. At the same time, it remains a simple invitation – to sit together at one table.
