Few people know that Oscar winner Tim Robbins, alongside his film career, has been developing as a theater creator for years. TThe artist will visit Poland for the first time as a special guest at the Malta Festival 2024! He is coming to us with the latest premiere by The Actors’ Gang, “Topsy Turvy,” for which he is responsible for the script, direction, and music.

The performance will take place on September 12 and 13 at 7:00 PM in Aula Artis. After each performance, there will be a meeting with the artist. Tickets will go on sale on July 15.

In the hybrid world of classical Greek theater and noisy vaudeville, the unity of the Greek chorus is shattered by a mysterious disease, a metaphor for the forces dividing society. In the face of chaos, the chorus desperately calls upon the gods, seeking divine intervention to restore harmony and bonds. “Topsy Turvy” is both a serious and humorous, poignant commentary on the human condition. It is a thrilling celebration of the power of forgiveness and the strength of the human heart, capable of healing even the deepest divides.
