How to get there?

Poznań is well-connected in terms of public transport and micromobility. Events taking place here can be reached by various means of transport.

Public transport:

• Bus – the “Poznań Główny” bus stop is located 750 metres from the Stary Browar, on Towarowa Street
• Tram – the “Półwiejska” tram stop is located 100 metres from the Stary Browar, on Królowej Jadwigi Street

The event is located in fare zone A. Public transport tickets can be purchased in the following forms:

• paper tickets, available from ticket machines located at selected stops, at ZTM Customer Service Points, and at Ticket Sales Points. More information about tickets, discounts, and sales point locations can be found on the website of the Poznań Public Transport Authority: All about tickets
• electronic tickets, available via ticket terminals installed in trams and buses using contactless payment cards, or through mobile apps such as: moBILET, SkyCash, GoPay, jakdojade.pl, zBiletem

Suburban and international transport:

Train – Stary Browar is located 1000 metres from the exit of Poznań Główny Main Station.

Bus – CK Stary Browar is located 1000 meters from the main bus station, Poznań Główny

Car – There is no possibility to drive directly up to the entrance of the auditorium.

Parking:

Driving right up to the main entrance of Stary Browar is possible via the parking facility located within the shopping center. The entrance to the parking lot is from Tadeusza Kościuszki Street. Parking for up to 30 minutes is free of charge.

The auditorium is located within the Śródmiejska Paid Parking Zone. The zone is in operation Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Parking fees can be paid at street parking meters (some machines accept coins only) or via mobile apps.

The nearest parking spaces are located:

– approximately 150 metres from the Stary Browar, on Krakowska Street

– approximately 300 metres from the Stary Browar, on Tadeusza Kościuszki Street

Additionally, there is a paid parking facility at Stary Browar, with the entrance located on Tadeusza Kościuszki Street.

Parking spaces for persons with disabilities:

There are no designated accessible parking spaces (“blue badge spaces”) located in the immediate vicinity of the auditorium within the public paid parking zone.

The nearest designated disabled parking bays in the paid parking zone are located on Ratajczaka Street, approximately 200 meters from the entrance to Stary Browar on the Ratajczaka Street side.

Parking for authorized vehicles in designated disabled spaces within the paid parking zone is free of charge.

If a designated bay is occupied, it is permitted to park the vehicle in a parking space directly adjacent to the occupied space.

Scooter
In Poznań, there are electric scooter rentals operated by operators such as Uber/Lime, Bolt or Dott. However, there is an obligation to leave the scooter at Hop&go mobility points, marked with information boards with a blue bubble and the white inscription “Hop&go”. The obligation to leave rented scooters at the points presented above applies to areas covered by the Śródmieście Paid Parking Zone and the Paid Parking Zone, i.e. the Old Town, Jeżyce, Wilda, Łazarz, Ostrów Tumski, Śródka and Piotrów. Failure to leave the scooter at the designated Hop&go point will result in the inability to terminate the rental and the fee will continue to be charged. In locations outside paid parking zones, it is recommended to leave shared equipment at Hop&go points, but this is no longer obligatory.

Bicycle
Poznań is well connected when it comes to bicycle paths. There are over 138 kilometers of bicycle paths and over 97 kilometers of pedestrian and bicycle paths in Poznań. However, the Poznań City Bike rental system no longer operates. Bicycle racks are located right next to or in close proximity to the Hop&go points described above in the Scooters section.

Taxi
There are several taxi companies operating in Poznań. Rides can also be ordered via ride-hailing apps such as iTaxi, Uber, Bolt, and FreeNow.

Taxis for people with disabilities are provided by Hanna Florczak “EURO-TAXI”. Transport is available 24 hours a day. A taxi should be ordered at least 12 hours in advance by calling 61 811 11 11 or sending an e-mail to centrala@euro-taxi.com.pl. Event location

Stary Browar is a modern shopping center that combines the functions of a retail gallery, office space, and a venue for cultural events. It is located in the revitalized buildings of the former Hugger Brewery.

Entrance to the building

You can enter Stary Browar from several sides:

• Entrance from the intersection of Półwiejska Street and Kościuszki Street
  At the entrance there are wide, glazed, automatic revolving doors. Above the doors there is a large screen. The doors can be slowed down by pressing the blue button with the international accessibility symbol, located on the right-hand side of the doors.
  After entering the building, you are on Level 0. Walk straight ahead for several steps, then turn right towards the escalators. You need to reach the 2nd floor. You can do so by using:
  • the escalators directly in front of you (the 2nd floor is the top level these escalators reach). Once on the 2nd floor, turn left into the passage leading to the courtyard;
  • the elevators located in the passage to the left of the escalators (the elevator entrances are opposite the restrooms). Take the elevator to Floor 2 and turn right towards the courtyard;
  • the traditional staircase located at the end of the elevator corridor. After reaching the 2nd floor, turn right towards the courtyard.

Cross the courtyard straight ahead, following the black-and-white checkered pathway, until you reach Restauracja Weranda. In front of the restaurant, turn left and head towards the glazed doors marked “Słodownia.”

• Entrance from Półwiejska Street near the ZARA store
  Several steps lead up to the entrance. Entry is through glazed revolving doors. Directly ahead are escalators, and behind them elevators and traditional stairs leading to the 2nd floor and then to the courtyard (the detailed route is described above).
• Entrance from Kościuszki Street’
  This entrance is accessible only via a traditional staircase (number of steps equivalent to the height of two floors), which leads directly to the courtyard level. After entering, walk straight ahead until you reach the black-and-white checkered pathway. Turn left and follow it to Restauracja Weranda. In front of the restaurant, turn left and head towards the glazed doors marked “Słodownia.”
• One of the entrances from Park Dąbrowskiego side
  (Note: entrances from the park side are open only until 10:00 PM.)
  Through the glazed entrance located between the silver, wave-shaped façade, with a checkered pattern painted on the ground both before and after the entrance. When standing outside the building facing the entrance, wide, glazed, automatic revolving doors are on the left-hand side. The doors can be slowed down by pressing the blue button with the international accessibility symbol on the right-hand side.
  After entering, you are on Level 0. Walk straight towards the large silver rotunda with spiral stairs, then turn left just beside it and continue straight along the black-and-white checkered pathway until it begins to curve and you see glazed automatic sliding doors leading to the courtyard.’
  After entering the courtyard, walk straight ahead for a short distance (again along the checkered pathway). Just past Restauracja Weranda, turn right and head towards the glazed doors marked “Słodownia.”
  Through the courtyard-side entrance (to the right of the clock tower). From this entrance, proceed straight ahead directly to the glazed doors marked “Słodownia.”
• Entrance from Franciszka Ratajczaka Street
  There is a fountain in front of the entrance. At the entrance there are wide, glazed, automatic revolving doors. The doors can be slowed down by pressing the blue button with the international accessibility symbol, located on the right-hand side of the doors.
  After entering, you are on Level 1. Directly ahead there are escalators, traditional stairs, and elevators leading to the further part of Level 1. Then proceed straight to another set of escalators to go down to Level 0; or take the glazed elevators located directly behind the escalators down to Level 0; or walk along either side of the mezzanine to the traditional stairs behind the elevators in the silver rotunda and go down to Level 0, then turn right.
  Using any of these options, you will reach the level with the courtyard. Walk straight along the entire length of the passage, following the black-and-white checkered pathway that begins at the elevator exit. At the end of the passage there are glazed automatic sliding doors leading to the courtyard.
  After entering the courtyard, walk straight ahead for a short distance (again along the checkered pathway). Just past Restauracja Weranda, turn right and head towards the glazed doors marked “Słodownia.”
  
• The levels and floor plans for each storey are displayed on the walls near the entrances. Informational signs are also suspended from the ceiling, indicating directions, for example to the restrooms.
• Virtual tour – you can also explore the Stary Browar space via a virtual tour.

Where is the room where the event takes place? 

• Słodownia +3 is located on the third floor of the Słodownia building. After entering through the door marked “Słodownia,” located next to Restauracja Weranda, proceed straight ahead for a short distance, then turn right to use the elevator (numbered buttons, no Braille markings) or the stairs located opposite the elevator, which lead to the third floor. The room where the event takes place is on the left when exiting the elevator or on the right when coming up the stairs. The entrance to the room is marked with the sign “Studio Słodownia +3.”
• The corridors and stairs leading to Studio Słodownia +3 are well lit.
• Tickets will be checked at the entrance to Studio Słodownia +3 by festival staff wearing festival T-shirts and ID badges.

The space where the event takes place

• Słodownia +3 is equipped with backless chairs. The seats are not numbered.
• In the case of the performance “This resting, patience”, the audience seating is mobile — spectators are offered different seating locations throughout the performance. The performers rearrange, add, or remove chairs among the audience. If you would like to remain in one place, please choose a seat by the wall. Chairs placed along the walls are unlikely to be moved.
• There are also spaces available for wheelchair users in the audience area; these are not specially designated.
• The room is air-conditioned.

Toilets

• Toilets are located on Level 0 in the Passage or on Level 2 in the Atrium (in fact, this is the same level as Level 0 of the courtyard, from which you access the Atrium restrooms).
• To use the toilets in the Atrium, exit Słodownia on Level 0 near Restauracja Weranda and turn right. The restrooms are located on the right-hand side in the Atrium building, close to the exit leading outside toward Tadeusza Kościuszki Street. Access is through glazed doors marked “Atrium.” Directional signs are also suspended in front of the entrance.
• To use the toilets in the Passage, exit Słodownia on Level 0 near Restauracja Weranda and turn left toward the glazed automatic sliding doors. Go straight ahead, keeping to the left side. The restrooms are located on the left-hand side at the level of the escalators.
• The toilets are accessible for people with disabilities. To use the accessible facilities, press the intercom button located next to the door.
• The main toilets are equipped with amenities for small children.
• Family rooms for caregivers with young children are available next to the Atrium restrooms on Levels 0 and 2, as well as next to the Passage restrooms on Level 2. To access them, press the intercom button located by the door.

Accessibility tools

Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome in Słodownia; please carry a certificate and a valid vaccination record for your dog to present to the staff if requested

Return / after the event

• If the event in the auditorium ends late, it is possible to return using public transport – bus:

  – the “Półwiejska” bus stop is located 100 metres from the Stary Browar, on Królowej Jadwigi Street

  – the “Poznań Główny” bus stop is located 750 metres from the Stary Browar, on Towarowa Street

• After 10:00 PM, the exits from Stary Browar on the Park Dąbrowskiego side are closed.
