How to get there?

Poznań is well-connected in terms of public transport and micromobility. Events taking place here can be reached by various means of transport.

Public transport:

By bus – the “Zamek” bus stop is located 200 meters from the entrance to CK Zamek, on Aleje Niepodległości

By tram – the “Zamek” tram stop is 50 meters from the entrance, located on Św. Marcin Street. The “Fredry” tram stop is also nearby, 300 meters from the entrance, on Fredry Street

This event takes place in fare zone A. Tickets for public transport can be purchased in the following forms:

– Paper tickets from ticket machines at selected stops, ZTM Customer Service Points, and authorized vendors. More information about tickets, discounts, and sales points can be found on the Poznań Public Transport Authority website: all about tickets

– Electronic tickets using the terminals in trams and buses (contactless bank card payment) or via mobile apps: moBILET, SkyCash, GoPay, jakdojade.pl, zBiletem

Suburban transport:

Train – CK Zamek is located 750 meters from the main railway station, Poznań Główny

Bus – CK Zamek is located 750 meters from the main bus station, Poznań Główny

By car – you can drive up to the entrance of CK Zamek from Kościuszki Street using a “kiss & ride” stop

Parking – CK Zamek is located within the Paid Parking Zone, in effect Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Parking fees are paid at machines located along the streets (some accept coins only) or via mobile apps. The nearest parking spaces are located 50 meters from the entrance, along Kościuszki Street

Parking spaces for people with disabilities – the nearest accessible parking space (marked in blue) is located 50 meters from the entrance on Kościuszki Street. Authorized vehicles may park free of charge in designated accessible parking spaces. If the marked space is occupied, it is permissible to park in an adjacent space.

• Scooter – in Poznań, there are electric scooter rentals operated by operators such as Uber/Lime, Bolt or Dott. However, there is an obligation to leave the scooter at Hop&go mobility points, marked with information boards with a blue bubble and the white inscription “Hop&go”. The obligation to leave rented scooters at the points presented above applies to areas covered by the Śródmieście Paid Parking Zone and the Paid Parking Zone, i.e. the Old Town, Jeżyce, Wilda, Łazarz, Ostrów Tumski, Śródka and Piotrów. Failure to leave the scooter at the designated Hop&go point will result in the inability to terminate the rental and the fee will continue to be charged. In locations outside paid parking zones, it is recommended to leave shared equipment at Hop&go points, but this is no longer obligatory.

• Bicycle – Poznań is well connected when it comes to bicycle paths. There are over 138 kilometers of bicycle paths and over 97 kilometers of pedestrian and bicycle paths in Poznań. However, the Poznań City Bike rental system no longer operates. Bicycle racks are located right next to or in close proximity to the Hop&go points described above in the Scooters section.
• Taxi – there are several taxi companies operating in Poznań. Rides can also be ordered via ride-hailing apps such as iTaxi, Uber, Bolt, and FreeNow.

Taxis for people with disabilities are provided by Hanna Florczak “EURO-TAXI”. Transport is available 24 hours a day. A taxi should be ordered at least 12 hours in advance by calling 61 811 11 11 or sending an e-mail to centrala@euro-taxi.com.pl. Event location

Zamek Cultural Centre is a cultural institution located in the historic interiors of the Imperial Castle in Poznań.

Entrance to the building

• The main entrance is located at Św. Marcin 80/82. In front of the entrance, there are approximately 10 steps and a ramp for wheelchair users.
• The entrance is step-free and features one of three glass, automatically sliding doors. Above the doors are signs indicating Kino Pałacowe, Centrum Kultury Zamek, and Teatr Animacji. Immediately behind them is another set of sliding glass doors, leading into the main hall.

Where is the room where the event takes place?

• The Grand Hall is located on the first floor.
• The corridors leading to the Hall are well lit.
• Access to the Hall:

– without using an elevator: after entering CK Zamek, proceed straight ahead through the main hall (along the way you will need to go up a few steps twice) all the way to the end (towards the wall with the large screen and the entrance to the Animation Theatre marked with the “Teatr Animacji” sign and logo). Then use the stairs located on your left or right to go up to the first floor.

– with the use of an elevator:

option 1: after entering CK Zamek, proceed straight ahead through the main hall (towards the wall with the large screen and the entrance to the Animation Theatre marked with the “Teatr Animacji” sign and logo). Halfway through the hall there are a few steps; to the right of them there is a wheelchair ramp. Immediately after the steps, on the right-hand side, there is a glass elevator. After taking it up to the first floor, the entrance to the Grand Hall is on the left.

option 2: after entering CK Zamek, proceed straight ahead through the main hall (towards the wall with the large screen and the entrance to the Animation Theatre marked with the “Teatr Animacji” sign and logo). Halfway through the hall there are a few steps; to the right of them there is a wheelchair ramp. By the second set of stairs (on the left-hand side) there is a vertical platform lift. You can call it by pushing the black lever downwards. It is located on the pillar to the left of the lift. After taking it up, there are two additional elevators on the left, in the corridor connecting the eastern and western wings of the castle, behind double brown doors. There are two elevators, one on the left and one on the right. After taking the elevator to the first floor, proceed towards the atrium (if you used the left elevator, the atrium will be to your right as you exit; if you used the right elevator, the atrium will be to your left). The entrance to the Grand Hall is located in the atrium on the right-hand side.

• During events, a member of staff wearing a festival T-shirt and a festival ID badge will be stationed at the doors to the Grand Hall.
• Tickets will be checked at the entrance to the event by the staff. Tickets may be presented in electronic or paper form. Guests who have purchased a disability (OzN) ticket are kindly asked to bring their disability certificate to present to the staff and to contact the audience services staff upon arrival at the event.

• The Grand Hall has an area of 504 m² and a height of 10–12 meters
• The auditorium of the Grand Hall is normally equipped with chairs without armrests. Seats are numbered. For some performances, there is no seating; this information is provided in the accessibility description for each event.
• The hall is air-conditioned.
• Spaces for wheelchair users are located in the front row at level 0 and will be indicated by the staff.

Toilets

• Toilets are located in the main hall on level 0, between one set of stairs (with a ramp) and another set of stairs (with a vertical platform lift). From the Grand Hall, you can reach this level directly via the glass elevator located to the right of the exit from the Grand Hall. After taking the elevator down to level 0, the restrooms are straight ahead.
• Toilets is accessible for people with disabilities.
• Toilets is equipped with a comfort room (changing/rest area).
• Toilets is equipped with a baby changing table.

Accessibility tools

Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome in Grand Hall; please carry a certificate and a valid vaccination record for your dog to present to the staff if requested
