Following the performance Distance, audiences are invited to stay for a conversation that serves as a natural continuation of the piece – an opportunity to carry the experience from the stage into a space for reflection.

The discussion will focus on maturity, particularly in the context of parenthood and the experience of being a man later in life. It is a subject that still receives relatively little attention in public discourse, and opportunities to reflect on masculinity, fatherhood and the ways they evolve remain rare. How do the natural changes that take place in the body and mind affect one’s relationship with oneself and with loved ones – especially with adult children? Do they always bring tension? Or can they open the door to new perspectives and a reassessment of what truly matters?

Together, we will explore what these experiences can bring to our lives: the changes they trigger in everyday routines, in the way we care for our health and personal needs, and in how we think about ourselves, our roles and our place in the world. The conversation will also touch on how the passing of time shapes our choices, priorities and ways of experiencing our presence – both in relationships and in life itself.
