HAAi will perform on 26 June at the Malta Festival. The Australian DJ and producer has rapidly established herself as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary electronic music, developing a recognisable and highly personal sound.
Her sets unfold gradually – moving from hypnotic, extended forms into moments of clear club intensity. HAAi builds narratives through rhythm, tension, and fluid transitions, guiding listeners through layered sonic environments.
HAAi is an Australian DJ and producer who has quickly made a mark on the international electronic music scene. Her work moves across a range of aesthetics – from more hypnotic and exploratory forms to high-energy club sounds.
A defining feature of her sets is their sense of flow and gradual development. Rather than relying on abrupt shifts or obvious climaxes, HAAi allows the music to evolve over time, leading listeners through different phases of sound with a strong sense of intuition and control.
She has collaborated with artists such as Fred again.. and Jon Hopkins, and has appeared in their projects. Her performances at major festivals including Glastonbury and Primavera Sound reflect her growing presence on the global stage.
HAAi belongs to a new generation of artists redefining electronic music as an open and flexible space, not limited by genre. Her set at Malta Festival will open the evening dedicated to electronic music, introducing its first, more hypnotic phase.
The Malta Festival concert programme will run for four days, with three concerts on stage each day.
