A project by Karolina Wyrwał, artist-in-residence at CK Zamek. More Units Than Meaning is a landscape of excess – a performance without a narrative or a single answer, an experience built from tension, pauses and errors.
More Units Than Meaning is a landscape of excess. A performance without a clear narrative or a single answer – an experience built from tension, pauses, and errors. Two bodies move through space like parts of a faulty mechanism, suspended between control and the loss of continuity. Fragments of intense movement dissolve into silence, stillness, and physical exhaustion. Within these ruptures, a glitch appears – a moment when the body ceases to function as a tool of production and begins to operate on its own terms. In a world that measures life through usefulness rather than meaning, the body becomes a site of resistance. It cannot fully conform. Sometimes it refuses to cooperate. It slips beyond the logic of productivity. This moment – error, overload, loss of meaning – becomes a space for artistic exploration. The performance unfolds within a reality overloaded with stimuli, where reaction outpaces reflection. Meaning breaks down into units of movement, sound, and image.
