Women’s Cinema is a series of film screenings and conversations where cinema becomes a starting point for exploring relationships, emotions and the experiences that shape contemporary life.

Good Home begins as a story of great love, only to transform into a powerful tale of violence hidden behind the façade of a seemingly perfect life. Wojciech Smarzowski looks behind the closed doors of “good homes”, asking difficult questions about the limits of love, silence and responsibility.

The screening will be followed by a conversation with Joanna Gryza-Iskandar, an expert from the Feminoteka Foundation, and director Wojciech Smarzowski.

When Gośka meets Grzesiek on the Internet, she is sure that she’s finally found her Mr. Right. Grzesiek is crazy about her, showers her with flowers and proposes in Venice. This must be love, right? The perfect picture starts showing some cracks, though. For Gośka their home soon becomes the most dangerous of places. In Good Home, Wojciech Smarzowski looks inside seemingly “good homes”, where things happen that most people prefer not to talk about. A film about the limits of love that you will not be able to forget.
