Nice Women is an extraordinary story about contemporary womanhood and its challenges, which take on tangible and surprising forms in the magical reality created by the Krofta–Wojtyszko duo. Together, the intertwining stories become a kind of parable about the female experience itself – from adolescence and motherhood, through midlife crisis and the loss of a partner, to the final stage of life.

Milena takes care of two children, her grandmother and her pregnant sister while her husband is in rehab. Whenever the pressure becomes too much, she drives to the airport and watches travellers come and go. One day, she meets a man who mistakes her for his driver. Milena plays along, forms a connection with the stranger and begins an affair. He is the only person she confides in about her dream of escaping her family and starting over somewhere far away. The stranger encourages her to leave with him.
