An exhibition of sketches and paintings telling the story of the artist and her family’s evacuation from Kiev: of losing their home, their difficult experience, the long journey and searching for food. The work shows people who helped them reach the border, survive the worst and find accommodation. The sketches depict feelings about forced emigration and a place to start a new life: from scratch, but with a baggage of experience. The images are enhanced with short stories. The project was selected from the No Title open call.
