- Event or Events – cultural events such as shows or concerts organised during and in connection with the Festival, as part of its cultural programme.

§ 2 Scope
- These Terms and Conditions apply to all Members of the Media applying for Accreditation and having valid Accreditation for the Event/Festival.
- Accreditation is valid only during the period and within the site of the Event/Festival.
- Accreditation entitles Members of the Media to participate at selected shows, concerts and other events organised as part of the Festival, whereas the Organisers reserve the right to make their own decisions regarding access to individual events. Upon receipt of the Accreditation, the Member of the Media will receive an invitation or a pass, if one is required in order to participate at the Event.
§ 3 Rules for awarding Accreditation
- Accreditation may be awarded to professionally active Members of the Media.
- Applications for Accreditation must be submitted by 1 June 2025, by sending a complete and correct online APPLICATION FORM, available at malta-festival.pl in the “Press Centre” section. Applications submitted after that date and applications containing incomplete or inaccurate information will not be considered.
- Submitting an application for Accreditation, receiving the title of media sponsor or commencing editorial collaboration is not equivalent to being awarded Accreditation.
- After considering the application for Accreditation, the Organisers will decide whether to award or refuse the Accreditation. The Organisers also reserve the right to cancel Accreditation.
- The decision to award Accreditation, cancel Accreditation, or refuse to award Accreditation is an autonomous decision of the Organisers that cannot be appealed and does not require a statement of reasons. The award, refusal to award or cancellation of Accreditation is communicated by email to the address specified in the application form.
- When issuing the decisions referred to above, the Organisers rely on their own assessment of the application, taking into account the limited number of Accreditations and the number of places available at the Event locations.
- Accreditations are awarded free of charge and cannot be transferred to third parties.
- Accreditation is issued for editorial teams or a specific person indicated in the application.
- Accreditation is issued in the form of an ID with an inscription reading: “MEDIA”, which can be collected personally at the Festival Office from 20 June 2025, during the business hours of the Office. All information in this regard is published on the Festival’s website. A press licence or identity document will be required to collect the Accreditation certificate. Accreditations will not be issued to third parties or unauthorised individuals.
Anyone who has received Accreditation must comply with the rules and instructions of the Organisers of the Festival regarding the presence of members of the media during the 35th edition of the Malta Festival. These will be sent to the email address specified in the application form together with a decision on the successful application for Accreditation.
