DETAILED TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION IN THE PERFORMANCE “THE SECOND WOMAN”
(supplementing the Terms and Conditions for the sale of tickets for ticketed events organised as part of the 36th edition of Malta Festival in Poznań, held on 21–28 June 2026)
1. Nature of the Performance
- The performance “The Second Woman” (hereinafter: the “Performance”) at 36th edition of Malta Festival.
- Performance is realised in the form of a 24-hour durational piece based on a repeating sequence of scenes with different participants, each lasting approximately 10 minutes.
- The Performance begins at 18:00 on 26 June and ends at 18:00 on 27 June 2026.
- The Performance will take place in the Earth Hall at the Poznań International Fair (MTP), located at ul. Głogowska 10, Poznań.
- The organiser of the Performance is dFlights Sp. z o.o.
2. Definitions
- Hall – the venue where the Performance takes place, i.e. the Earth Hall at the Poznań International Fair in Poznań.
- 24-hour Ticket – entitles the holder to commence participation in the Performance at any time during its duration. A holder of a 24-hour Ticket is authorised to use the Priority Queue upon each entry to the Hall. The 24-hour Ticket is subject to exchange for an Identification Wristband.
- Time Slot Ticket – entitles the holder to the first entry to the Hall exclusively within the time interval specified on the ticket. Each ticket, upon verification, is subject to exchange for an Identification Wristband. After entering within their assigned Time Slot, the Spectator may remain until the end of the Performance.
- Identification Wristband – both the Time Slot Ticket and the 24-hour Ticket are subject to exchange for a wristband.
- The Identification Wristband is assigned to one person and may not be removed, transferred or shared with third parties. Damage, removal or lack of the wristband may result in refusal of re-entry to the Performance.
- Time Slot – the time interval during which the Spectator is entitled to the first entry to the Hall under a Time Slot Ticket.
- Control Coupon – entitles the holder to re-enter the Hall within 30 minutes of leaving it. The Control Coupon is issued on site by the Performance staff upon exiting the Hall during the Performance.
- Spectator – a person who, on the day of the Performance, is at least 15 years of age and holds a Time Slot Ticket or a 24-hour Ticket.
- Priority Queue – this queue is available to: (1) holders of 24-hour Tickets entering the Event for the first time; (2) holders of wristbands exchanged for 24-hour Tickets; (3) holders of wristbands exchanged for Slot Tickets exclusively together with a valid Control Coupon; (4) holders of tickets marked with the Accessibility (OzN) symbol (both 24-hour Tickets and Slot Tickets).
3. Tickets and Time Slot System
- Two types of tickets apply for the Performance: the 24-hour Ticket and the Time Slot Ticket.
- After entering the auditorium, the Spectator has the right to remain for any duration, until the official end of the Performance, regardless of the validity period of their Time Slot.
- In the case of Time Slot Tickets, after the expiry of the Time Slot, it is possible to leave the Hall for a period not exceeding 30 minutes, exclusively upon obtaining a Control Coupon.
- The right to remain in the Hall after the expiry of the Time Slot is irrevocably lost in the event of leaving the auditorium without obtaining a Control Coupon or for a period exceeding 30 minutes. In such cases, re-entry to the Hall based on the same Time Slot Ticket and/or Identification Wristband is not permitted.
- Subject to availability, tickets may also be purchased on site at the Earth Hall during the Performance.
- On-site ticket sales at the Earth Hall take place from 18:00 on 26 June 2026 until 15:00 on 27 June 2026.
- The purchase of such a ticket does not guarantee immediate entry to the auditorium. Entry will be possible once seats become available, during breaks between scenes. Waiting time depends on current occupancy.
- In accordance with § 6 of the Terms and Conditions for the sale of tickets for ticketed events organised as part of the 36th edition of Malta Festival in Poznań, held on 21–28 June 2026, and Article 38(1)(12) of the Act of 30 May 2014 on Consumer Rights (Journal of Laws 2024.1796, as amended), purchased tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for another date/Time Slot.
4. Queue Organisation and Re-entry System
- In order to ensure smooth audience rotation, two separate access queues to the Hall are introduced:
- Priority Queue: Intended for holders of 24-hour Tickets, Attendees holding an Identification Wristband who are returning to the Event within their applicable Time Slot, Attendees holding a Control Coupon, and holders of tickets marked with the Accessibility (OzN) symbol (both 24-hour Tickets and Slot Tickets).
- General Queue: designated for holders of Time Slot Tickets for the current Time Slot (first entry) and for persons purchasing tickets at the box office and Spectators returning without a valid Control Coupon within their Time Slot.
- Due to the nature of the performance, entry and exit of Spectators take place exclusively during short breaks between consecutive scenes of approximately 10 minutes. The audience staff determines the number of persons admitted during each interval based on current occupancy. Additionally, a 15-minute technical break is scheduled every 2 hours.
- A Spectator intending to leave the Hall for a period not exceeding 30 minutes is required to obtain a Control Coupon from the staff, indicating the time of exit. Returning with a valid Control Coupon within the designated time entitles the holder to enter the Hall via the Priority Queue
- A Spectator who exceeds the 30-minute absence limit, while their Time Slot remains valid, retains the right to enter the auditorium via the Priority Queue (upon presentation of an Identification Wristband), however, they must take into account the possibility of having to wait for available seats. Exceeding the 30-minute absence limit while the Time Slot indicated on the Slot Ticket has also expired results in the loss of the right to return to the auditorium.
5. Rules of Conduct in the Auditorium
a) course of the event
- Spectators are required not to disrupt the course of the Performance.
- Seats are unnumbered. Visibility and availability of seats depend on the time of arrival and current occupancy of the Hall. Late arrival may result in limited seating options and reduced visibility.
- Leaving personal belongings in the auditorium does not constitute a reservation of a seat and does not grant priority upon returning to the Hall. The Organiser shall not be liable for unattended items. Retrieval of items left behind after exiting the Hall is only possible under the supervision of staff or security personnel during breaks between scenes.
- Animals are not permitted on the premises. This prohibition does not apply to guide dogs or assistance dogs for persons with disabilities.
b) photography and recordings
- Spectators are permitted to take short recordings and photographs using mobile devices for private use, provided that non-invasive equipment is used and the comfort of other audience members is respected.
- The use of flash is strictly prohibited. Any use of flash despite this prohibition will result in removal from the Hall for breach of the regulations, and the Identification Wristband will become invalid.
- When publishing content, spectators are requested to use the following hashtags:
#TheSecondWomanMaltaFestival and #24hours.
c) food and beverages
- Spectators are not permitted to bring their own food or beverages, or items that may generate noise (e.g. rustling packaging), into the auditorium of the Earth Hall.
- In accordance with mass event regulations, it is permitted to bring onto the premises only a closed filtered bottle or a factory-sealed bottle of water with a capacity of up to 0.5 litres.
- Consumption of personal food and beverages is permitted in the foyer. If necessary, such items may be left in the cloakroom.
6. Accessibility, Safety and Image
- The purchase of tickets for persons with disabilities and coordination of support is handled by the Festival’s accessibility coordinator – Natalia Dąbrowska (natalia.dabrowska@malta-festival.pl). Entry of an accompanying person is permitted only at the same time as the person with a disability.
- Designated seating for persons with disabilities and accompanying persons is located in the first row and marked accordingly. Spaces for wheelchair users are located in the first row at ground level.
- An accompanying person may temporarily leave the Hall with a Control Coupon and re-enter outside the queue.
- The Performance is intended for persons aged 15 and above. Due to the partially improvised nature of the performance, vulgar language may occur.
- Participation in the Performance constitutes consent to the free recording and publication of the Spectator’s image in the Organiser’s promotional materials.
